I’m a travel and nature writer based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
My work focuses on the connection between people, place, and the environment, often highlighting stories that lie at the intersection of culture and outdoor adventure. I have over 15 years of experience in print and digital media and my writing appears in National Geographic, The Globe and Mail, Travel + Leisure, AFAR, and Sierra, among others. When I’m not penning feature stories you can often find me creating content for brand campaigns and branded editorial work. Past and current clients include Destination Canada, Extraordinary Journeys, lululemon, and Saje Wellness.
If I’m not writing, you’ll find me reading a book, lacing up my hiking boots to explore B.C.’s Coast Mountains, or heading to the airport—it’s hard to keep me in one place for too long. My wanderlust has inspired me to trek across the desert in Jordan and along an ancient pilgrimage route in Japan, track tigers in central India, and road trip along Patagonia’s rugged Carretera Austral.
In all aspects of my life, I lead with curiosity and creativity, and I love exploring the world through storytelling.
