I’m a travel and nature writer based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Whether I’m deep into reporting for a feature story or diving into concept ideation for a brand, I love working with publications and companies that match my passion for creating positive impact for the planet and all its sentient beings. I have over 13 years of experience covering travel, outdoor adventure, environment, and culture for print and digital media. My work appears in National Geographic, The Globe and Mail, Travel + Leisure, AFAR, and ELLE Canada, among others, and I got my start in the industry working on staff as an associate editor at two of Canada’s leading lifestyle magazines. I’m also a savvy copywriter and you can often find me creating content for brand campaigns, product launches, and websites, as well as branded editorial work. Past and current clients include Destination Canada, Extraordinary Journeys, lululemon, and Saje Wellness.
If I’m not writing, you’ll find me reading a book, lacing up my hiking boots to explore B.C.’s Coast Mountains, or heading to the airport—it’s hard to keep me in one place for too long. My wanderlust has inspired me to trek across the desert in Jordan and along an ancient pilgrimage route in Japan, track tigers in central India, and road trip along Patagonia’s rugged Carretera Austral.
In all aspects of my life, I lead with curiosity and creativity, and I love exploring the world through storytelling.
